The candidate must fill the admission form, enclosed in the college prospectus. The following documents are to be attached along with the form:
- Matriculation Certificate (as a proof of Date of Birth).
- Certificate of the lower examination passed /DMC.
- Four passport size photographs (Paste one photograph on the admission form and attach three
photographs with the filled admission form). - Character Certificate issued by head of previous institution.
- Migration Certificate: Students migrating from other university/college will be required to produce
Migration certificate, in original, issued by the University from which they are migrating. - As per Punjabi University Patiala rules and regulations (ordinances) in Under Graduate Courses,
Integrated Courses and in other related courses, the students who have not passed Punjabi in 10th or
10+2 can opt Punjabi Compulsory (Mudla Gyan) instead of Punjabi Compulsory. - The students belonging to scheduled castes/backward classes must attach the following documents:
- Caste Certificate issued by a competent authority.
- Annual Income Certificate of Father/Mother or Guardian /Affidavit/Yellow card/Ration Card.
- In case of gap of one or more years, the candidate has to submit the affidavit duly attested by village Sarpanch or M.C. of the area.
- The highest achievement certificate in any sport/game.
- Incomplete admission form will not be entertained and the candidate must be present at the time of interview. The admission form must be signed by Parents/Guardian.
- The completed admission form should be submitted to the convener of the concerned admission committee and student should deposit the fees in the office before prescribed date.
Note:
- Regarding the eligibility for admission to a particular course, the decision of the affiliating university will be final.
- Courses and eligibility rules are subject to amendments/additions approved by the affiliating university.
- Conveners of various admission committees will guide the students for admission.
- The reservation of seats is as per the rules of Punjab Government. The appropriate certificates for claiming reservation must be attached with the application form, otherwise their case will not be considered.
- Admission of those students shall automatically stand cancelled if they get admission by furnishing fake certificates/ statement.
- It is compulsory for the students to attend at least 75% of the delivered lectures and have to appear and get the required percentage of marks in house examination, to become eligible for university examination.
- Guests are not allowed during the college hours.
- Mobiles are prohibited in the Classroorns, Library and Administrative Block.
